Embroidered Photo Art

Where photos marry embroidery

Say I love you with an unrepeatable art piece

No mass produced gifts here. This artform requires the slowest pace, years of expertise, and is rich with detail, texture and meaning. And because every piece is hand embroidered, even if you ask me to make two pieces of the same photo they will each have their own flare.

How embroidery on paper differs from regular embroidery

To embroider on paper is to love the juxtaposition of seemingly irreconcilable mediums. Unlike with fabric, on paper every hole made is final.

What is more, tension is crucial in embroidery. But if you pull a tad too tight, the paper will rip and the piece is destroyed.

It's an art to marry the two gracefully.

I adapt stitches meant for fabric to the flat medium of paper, creating dimension, unexpected finishes and exquisite details that highlight your story.

Frequently asked questions

How do I pick a photo?

Gather your favorite photos and compare with the collection of designs. Consider the area you want to have embroidered. Pick the design that best fits the amount of embroidery you want (see that there is space around the people in your photo to accommodate for this).

You are welcome to chat with me and I'll help you pick the best one.

What is a giclee print?

A giclee print is a fine art reproduction created using a high-resolution inkjet printer. Giclee prints are known for their clarity, richness, and depth, and are considered some of the best fine art reproductions available. They are often used in galleries and museums, for limited editions, and in private collections and archives

Does it arrive ready to gift?

All 8x10 artworks arrive in a white magnetized gift box with a bow.

5x7 artworks arrive in protective packaging. I do not offer gift boxes for this size at the moment.

What is your turnaround time?

All pieces are mailed within 3 weeks of the order placement. This is 10 times faster than most artists who take custom hand embroidery work.

Do you offer returns?

Due to the nature of the custom artworks, I cannot offer returns or exchanges. But know that your satisfaction and joyful experience is my top commitment. If an error was made on my part, you can count on being taken care of.

How do I frame the piece?

These pieces are best displayed in a frame matted to 8x10 or 5x7 accordingly.

Meet the artist

Hi, my name is Stephanie Diamant. I'm so happy you're here!

I've been an artist my whole life, but embroidery entered my world as the only medium I could use during a health crisis that left me bed bound in my twenties.

This art form is born of heavy doses of passion for life, dying to be expressed, as well as gratitude and delight in the people who make my life a story I love.

It is an honor to work on your photos showcasing your love stories, treasures and joys. I'm excited to help you celebrate your remarkable life too.
